Making impressions using native plants pressed into torn clay slabs, the Native ImpressionsTM series began as a way to bring my completed EcoArt projects "Babbling Brook" and "Old Dixie EcoWalk at Seabourn Cove" to the gallery audience and to showcase the need for native habitat. Both projects reforested urban areas using over 60 species of Florida native plants to provide the needed habitat for bees and beneficial pollinators to thrive. In turn, these insects provide resources for other wildlife such as our local and migrating bird populations. This it the same biodiversity that the human species is a part of and depends on.
